International student mobility in the first decade of the 21st century has been transformed by two major external recession of 2008. Today the rationale for international student exchange program has increased in leaps and bounds in all major continents of the world.
How is this transformation going to shape the future of student’s exchange programmes in regards to business management education? This still lies to be a great question in front of educationists. Growth in international student enrollment wasnt that high profiled, but the recession of 2008 changed things.During the times of recession, getting an employment was the most difficult task to be achieved. A majority of young graduated sat idle for long period of time with a hope recession recovery. But all in vain. Since, this could not be taken for longer any more, so both the fresh graduates and professionals out of job opted for higher education at international destinations.
Now, this has become a highly praised practice in higher education system. Everyone, who wants to pursue a course in management is looking to international destinations and do not want to pursue that in their own education system. Seeing this increasing trend, there is an urgent urge of keeping a check on this high ratio of student’s mobility. The trend of international exchange program is appreciated but to a certain level. A report by the National University of Educational Planning and Administration shows an increase in enrollment of Muslim girls in primary and upper primary levels in 2009-10. Not only the primary, high secondary and graduation but also the business management courses.
An analysis of data from 1.28 million recognised schools imparting elementary education from 635 districts spread over 35 states and union territories, shows a total enrolment of 17.17 million (against 14.83 million in 2008-09) Muslim children in primary classes in 2009-10. This is 13.04% of the total 131.72 million enrolment in classes I to V. During 2009-10, an additional 2.34 million Muslim minority children were enrolled in primary classes across the country. In 2008-09, the share of Muslim enrolment was 11.03% and in 2007-08, it was 10.49%. Girls, both at primary and upper primary level, have done exceptionally well. Of the total Muslim enrolment in primary classes, Muslim girls contribute 48.89% which is similar to the share of girls in overall primary enrolment (48.44%) at the all-India level. At the upper primary level, Muslim girls to total Muslim enrolment in upper primary classes is 49.97% which is above the national average of 48.04%.
This is a heartening development especially in the context of earlier reports which showed very poor educational levels for Muslims in India, such levels being lower than those of SC/ST on some parameters. It is too early to celebrate however as enrolment is only a first step. One needs to study the scenario over a period of time to analyse drop-out rates before a clearer picture emerges.

This game is played between two minds; on one side is a person of authority, who has a strong reason to question you; on the other side is you, making sure, that by putting up a strong reason you try to claim he is completely wrong or he did not see the point. The more presence of mind you have, the easier is your escape and you continue to feel the pleasure of fooling some one!
Actually, you are fooling yourself!
In the business management world you need to ‘take ownership’ of you actions, a quality which, if you possess naturally or cultivate actively, will help you to scale huge heights in your career.
